A written career plan will be compiled to specify concrete action steps that you need to take in order to achieve your career goals and ultimate career vision.All career assessments and counseling is conducted by a registered psychometrist and is governed by the Health Profession Council of South Africa (HPCSA). That is why career assessment and counseling can assist you in providing valuable insight into one's functioning and explores the fit between oneself and various career options and development.During one-to-one sessions, we will explore your abilities, skills, career interests and values.

Child & Youth Assessment Centre is an independent psychology service and education consultancy. We provide a range of services to parents, social workers, teachers and doctors. We assist children with learning, scholastic and behavioural difficulties as well as young people choosing a career path. During one-to-one sessions, we will explore the child's abilities, aptitude, skills, interests and values. A comprehensive written report will be compiled taking not only the assessment results, strengths and needs but also the role of the family, school and other contexts in the child's learning experience. All the information will be pulled together creating a plan for the child to move forward. At Child & Youth Assessment Centre each person is highly specialised in the field of education and trained to understand the learning process and to assess the child's academic and cognitive development. Faheema is the owner of child & youth assessment centre. she holds a Masters degree in Education and is a registered psychometrist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa in independent practice. Faheema is also a qualified teacher and has experience in a wide range of fields related to education and this led her to do her Masters dissertation on how teachers deal with learners' social problems. She has a rich knowledge and experience in public schools and FET colleges. she is also registered with the Education, Training and Development SETA as an Assessor of NQF unit standards. She has counselled young people experiencing social, emotional and behavioural problems at schools. She provides psychological assessment and assistance to children, adolescents and families.
