Aa Montessori Pre-school was established in the picturesque Noordhoek village in 1998. Aa Montessori's main objectives are quality education in a safe, art and craft, sensorial, culture, secure and stimulating environment for the pre-schooler. Aa Montessori pre-school's program includes practical life, clean,  music and drama. It is owner managed and the senior directress has international qualifications. Aa Montessori has 2 classes  age group 2 to 6 years old. Aa Montessori pre-school is set in a magical established garden with a big jungle gym, vegetable garden and secret forest for the children to explore. Aa Montessori also hosts extra mural activities Playball, Tumblebears and Move and Groove.

We are set in a beautiful, magical, established garden, with its own secret forest for the children to explore, play and develop in. Our school is fortunate to be surrounded by the mountains of the Table Mountain Nature Reserve which are majestic and powerful. A rich ecosystem of birds, insects, and the famous Western Cape leopard toad all co-existing within and surrounding our property. In the past 17 years we have seen many little feet cross our threshold and go on into Grade One. Because we are a community school we are a community family, and have seen our graduates grow into young teens, which is an amazing privilege for us. It all began when Melissa had a vision as she strolled around her parents’ newly acquired property. The studio was going to be a Montessori school for the young directress and she and Shelley put their talents together and have built a successful well-established school, which has gone from strength to strength with the natural progression and growth of Noordhoek. Our school environment is prepared in a traditional Montessori manner. We have age-appropriate equipment for our two classes: the Imbucare range for our 12-month to 2-year old group and a specialised, imported range of Montessori equipment from the Netherlands for our 3 to 5-year old group. The classes are small with 2 teachers each and a rich and diverse programme of practical life, sensorial, culture, maths, language and music. Our Montessori educare centre has become synonymous with the beauty of Noordhoek and we thank those families who, over the years, have believed in us and supported us. We will always give the highest degree of attention to the education and stimulation of every child who is entrusted into our care, and continue to give of our best and to maintain our top standards. We offer an exciting range of activities to help your child grow.
