As a child psychologist she specialises in full psycho-educational assessments and in providing therapeutic counselling to children and adolescents between the ages of 2 years and 21 years. Assessments are all done on an individual basis and typically include an aptitude test, scholastic tests (assessing reading, spelling and mathematical ability), perceptual screening, personality test and emotional assessment. School readiness tests are done to predict the extend to which young children will settle into the more formal environment of the Grade 1 environment.
