The workshops offered by art.love.nature are centred around creative activities inspired or within a natural environment, and aims to help people form a connection and relationship to nature.
Art.love.nature is an initiative by visual artist Janet Botes, who explores the landscape as theme and inspiration in a variety of different creative media.

art.love.nature forms part of a global movement towards living more compassionately and connected to the earth. We are interested in collaboration, dream-building, healing through being in nature, encouraging action, raising awareness & inspiring change through art. We love projects, art, events, stories & activities that encourage acceptance, responsibility & compassion towards all living things and ecosystems; raise awareness for human's unity with nature; and adhere to practices that show respect to our environment and others. RAW Material Company’s residency programme started in 2011 and has welcomed more than 40 artists, writers, researchers, curators, etc. Many of us have seen a Zen garden before and some of us had the chance to rake the many lines. Specialised skills and services are offered in particular to support and serve other art practitioners; individuals; and environmental, wellness, vegan and activist communities.
