This is a business built on the heritage of two strong entities ASTORE AFRICA (Plastic Pipe and Fittings Supplier) and KEYMAK (Flexible Hose Manufacturer).The synergy between Astore Africa and KEYMAK prompted the executive decision to a rebrand of Astore Keymak. Astore Keymak, continues to evolve and innovate to ensure the company is keeping its offering in alignment with the changes in the industry. Established in 1985 Astore Africa, started a small operation but quickly stepped up to play alongside the likes of some of the big names within the industry. The company understood the importance of realising its vision to be positioned as a leader, required strong partnerships with companies prompting exclusive distribution agreements with prominent international brands in the piping, valves and compression fittings industry. The following years marked significant milestones for the company with the introduction of the linings division including a manufacturing facility, a footprint in 7 of the 9 provinces in South Africa and a central warehouse based in Gauteng. In 2008, Hudaco Trading purchased Astore Africa giving the company stronger ground in the industry with significant support and assets to better serve clients. Four years later Astore Africa purchased KEYMAK, giving the company the competitive edge to provide a leading edge expert solution to our customers. Astore Africa is headquartered in Johannesburg, Boksburg with a centralised warehouse facility, which supports the wide network of branches across 8 provinces in South Africa. With a focus on continuous expansion of its operations, Astore Africa actively exports products into a number of African countries including Botswana and Mozambique. The KEYMAK manufacturing facility is based in Randfontein and operates. More recently Astore Africa, embarked on a company refresh including the complete integration of KEYMAK under the Astore umbrella. The company is now operating as Astore Keymak and will continue to provide a world-class quality solution to clients in South Africa and Africa.
