The BVi Group's growth since its inception in 1967 has been a remarkable one. The journey from 1967 to the present has taken BVi from a small, two-office start-up business to a nationwide organisation with local and international offices. The group added to its portfolio by providing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) services to its clients and adding the mining industry to its client base. Expansion across South Africa's borders into the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region became a strategic focus. Since then, BVi has successfully completed numerous projects on neighbouring African soil. The BVi Group's success is based on solid business integrity principles guided by our core values. It combines quality and value for money to produce creative, target-related and effective solutions. BVi is experienced in the full life cycle of projects from conception, through bankable feasibility, to implementation. With several offices already established around the country, BVi continues to develop its involvement in Africa and is constantly expanding internationally. Through intensive training, its Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment policies, its management expertise and shareholding capacity, BVi endeavours to continue developing the company to become the market leader in the industry. BVi continued to grow into Sub-Saharan Africa with its main presence in South Africa having established itself as a major force in the industry. BVi expanded its portfolio by including the mining sector as one of its key focus areas. A BEE Employee Trust was established to promote young, black employees to directors and into management positions. BVi further expanded to include project management and mechanical engineering consultancy services. Restructuring of the company into a limited liability company with fully affiliated regional limited liability companies. The company opened several offices throughout South Africa, including electrical engineering consultancy services. The company was established with offices in Pretoria and Bloemfontein. It focused on civil and structural engineering consultancy services. Our portfolio includes industrial buildings and warehouses, office developments, shopping centres and mining structures. The capability to simulate and calculate dynamic load influences on structures. BVi is also a member of the Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA) and takes the environment into consideration when designing buildings and systems thereby integrating all aspects and services onto one platform.
