Michael opened Michael Bagraim & Associates in (date) as a niche group of attorneys offering specialist services in the field of Labour Law. He is the official legal advisor for the Trade Union Directory and is a former member of the Department of Trade and Industry Task Team that was responsible for assessing labour legislation and the development thereof. He currently advises nationwide corporations on the restructuring and management of their labour forces. Brandon matriculated from Herzlia High School in 2001 and thereafter attended the University Of Cape Town (UCT) to study the Four Year Undergraduate Programme in Law. Greg was born in Kensington, Cape Town in 1960 and Matriculated at Heathfield High School during Greg is a graduate of UWC from which he obtained the Diploma Iuris, the B Proc degree and his LLB.Greg was a public prosecutor before being admitted as an attorney, and along the way he ran his own practice, served as a magistrate in Cape Town and also as Director for Traffic Management in the Western Cape at the Department of Community Safety. Harry matriculated from Chrisian’s Brothers’ College, Green Point and subsequently took up a career in Human Resources after completing a B Arts degree at UCT.He opened a successful industrial relations consultancy in 1993 and at the same time began to study law, successively completing B Iuris, B Proc and LLB degrees through UNISA while running the consultancy. Harry successfully completed the School for Legal Practice at UCT in 2003, coming first in his class in a number of subjects and went on to pass the Attorney’s Examination of the Cape Law Society in Amy matriculated from Herzlia High School in 2003 where after she spent a year living and studying in France as a Rotary International Youth Exchange student. Thereafter she obtained her BA and LLB from the University of Cape Town (UCT). She graduated from the School for Legal Practice in 2010 and thereafter commenced her articles of clerkship with Bagraims Attorneys. She practices in the field of Labour Law, with a special interest in settlement negotiations, drafting of contracts, chairing of disciplinary hearings, CCMA and Labour Court processes. Sharifa joined the Bagraims team in 1995 and took up the position of receptionist. Her duties expanded to include general secretarial work and in 2001 she completed an intensive Labour Law Course at the University of the Western Cape, which allowed her to assist the attorneys with the preparation of court documents as well as being able to advise clients herself.She currently hold the position of PA/Secretary and her attention to detail and pride in her work has made her an indispensable part of the Bagraim legal family. In 2005 she obtained her paralegal diploma from Intec College and has also completed a course in Pastel in Before moving into the legal fraternity, Umelda’s first love was nursing, where she worked first at the ACVV Zonnebloem Old Age Home and thereafter as a private nurse at Floreal Guest House. Umelda has enjoyed the growth she has achieved at Bagraims and hopes to move forward with the firm firmly behind her.
