Berry & Spence primarily delivers specialized high quality extruded polyethylene tubing and sheeting for conversion into a wide and diverse range of agricultural, general packaging, stationery and baler bag products. Beginning as a small family-owned business in 1987 the company has grown steadily and built an enviable reputation in the marketplace for both quality and service. Berry & Spence is very conscious of the need to protect the environment within which we live and work. This recycled material is reintroduced into non critical applications thus ensuring that no Plastic Waste ends up into the traditional waste chain. Whilst Berry & Spence specializes in Polyethylene Film Extrusion and Bag on a Roll products our unique and strong relationship with industry associates enables us to offer our customer base a wide range of products and services. In other words if we can’t make it ourselves we are perfectly poised to facilitate and help you source anything you may require that falls within our sphere of operations. Clear, colour or tinted, different colour inner and outer layers. All our raw materials and end products are food and textile approved. We are able to produce and supply products for most end uses. Our latest proud addition to the family, a state-of-the-art, Macchi 3 layer co-extruder. The entire staff watched with bated breath as components were lowered through the roof. We then had the excellence and precision of the Italian technicians to assist us with the installation. There were days when positioning of a component took 12 hours to get measurements down to the last millimetre. After 3 weeks of hard work, we were ready for start-up. There was an initial learning curve but we are proud to say that our staff have embraced the changes and are producing really high quality material from this machine. Many days of hard work and stress followed, but it was all worth it in the end! The end of an era as we knew it, but the start of exciting times!
