Caroline's Fine Wine Cellar is situated in central Cape Town, with two stores (Strand Street and V&A Waterfront) which are owned and managed by Caroline Rillema, who has 30 years of experience in the wine industry.  She applies her knowledge and passion in selecting the finest South African and imported wines she can find for her customers. The staff at Caroline's are passionate and knowledgeable, and will assist you in your selection as you wish.Apart from wine, Caroline’s also stock a fine selection of imported crystal glassware and other wine accessories. With over 1500 different wines on offer you will find a vast selection of Bordeaux, Italian and Spanish wines, Champagne, Loire, Burgundian, as well as some exciting names from the New World. Stocks are constantly replenished, and every week brings new finds to excite the wine lover, whether they be casual imbibers or serious collectors.

Caroline's Fine Wine Cellar is a specialist wine retailer situated in central Cape Town. The company's two stores are owned and managed by Caroline Kilian, who has 38 years of experience in the wine industry. She begun her career at the Lanzerac Hotel, followed by The Three Ships Restaurant at the Carlton Hotel which lead her to six years of retail in Johannesburg and ten in marketing for Cape producers Buitenverwachting and La Motte. In 1997 she opened her first specialist wine shop in Cape Town, which is where you will find her today. Her passion has taken her to all the major wine regions of the world, and she applies her knowledge in selecting the finest imported and South African wines she can find for her customers. You will find a vast selection of Bordeaux, Burgundian, Loire, Champagne, Italian and Spanish wines, as well as some exciting names from the New World. Stocks are constantly replenished, and every week brings new finds to excite the winelover, whether they be casual imbibers or serious collectors. This is the engine-room of the business, where all stock is held in bulk, and a huge range of South African wines are kept. We have allocations of all the top small-vineyard wines, made by our most iconic winemakers. We hold the largest range of European wines in any retail store in South Africa. From France we have Champagnes, top Bordeaux, over 30 Burgundies and 15 from Chablis and the Loire. We can pack wines for you to travel with, in special boxes with polystyrene inners. We deliver all over South Africa as well as the world. All you have to do is choose your wine, and we will do the rest to make sure that your wine arrives safely and in perfect condition at its destination. Our message is simple: Great variety, great product knowledge by staff, and most importantly: if we don't have what you are looking for, we will try our best to acquire it for you! We immediately set about looking for new premises, and found the perfect place soon after. Our new store is situated in FOREST GLADE HOUSE, Tokai Road, Tokai, Cape Town. It is just down the road from the northern entrance to Steenberg Golf Estate, and at the top of the road on which the Blue Route centre stands. You will find us on the rhs, in a leafy little set of line shops.
