I am Cherie Kossmann, a Bellville based ceramic artist. I was trained by. My love for the visual arts is an heirloom handed down from my family of artists.

Pottery Classes: Pottery is a perfect way to unwind, relax and become more creative. We are taking Christmas orders nowplus end year function bookings! It all began in 1999 when pottery was my chosen subject in school. My passion for clay, the endless possibilities and my love of teaching is only the beginning of beautiful things God has planned for me and my studio. Pottery is a perfect way to unwind, relax and become more creative. Our pottery classes are for all experience levels, aged 18 and older. For those who wish to enroll their kids while they attend my class, there are separate pottery classes hosted on the same premises. This is a different establishment and details are available upon request. Students work at their own pace and are encouraged to explore their creativity and own designs. We do projects in order to teach new techniques, but it is not compulsory after 2 months. We mostly do hand building in class, but there are pottery wheels available for the daring to play on! If your company is looking for something different, pottery is definitely the creative and fun outlet to leave you feeling relaxed and energized. Do something awesome and paint pottery or create in clay for a kitchen tea or your birthday party! Get a group of friends together, bring your snacks to class and come have some fun. A creative get-together to remember for years to come! All products can be purchased in class or the supplier details will be given if you wish to purchase directly from them. Consider a debit order if you wish to continue with classes for a long period. Tools and aprons are the studio's property and can be used by all students. Not informing me or one of the other teachers will result in you losing the opportunity to work it in. Wash all tools and place it back in the containers where you found it. Each student is allocated half a shelf; it is your responsibility to keep it tidy. If you use more than your shelf space your will be charged accordingly for extra space. Firing of your work can take anything from 2 weeks to 2 months, depending on the size of your project and firing queue. Neither Ck-ramics Pottery Studio nor any of the teachers are responsible for property that is lost, stolen or damaged on our premises.
