They now seek a Client Services Fund Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining sophisticated institutional client relationships. You will be required to act as custodian for a specific group of institutional clients\. You will be required to build and maintain strong relationships with your clients, as well as designated consultants and potential clients\. You will be required to ensure clients are in the right product for their needs\. You have the ability to build and maintain client relationships\. You have an understanding of institutional asset management, industry dynamics and distribution networks. They are top of the pops with clients and asset consultants and have a happy, smiling and busy business culture. The business is diversified across a broad range of specialist investment businesses. Its areas of expertise include conventional asset management, alternative investment solutions, collective investment schemes, employee benefits, property asset management, private client investment management and stockbroking, multi-management, structured products, private equity fund management and risk management. This is to replace a staff member who is staying with the group in another role. JOB DESCRIPTION WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO: You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, advertising, communications and client retention/attraction strategies that support these investment business units\. You will be required to provide a proactive marketing service to business as well as offer ad hoc marketing services on request of the business\. You will be required to take responsibility for marketing projects for from initiation to completion\. You will be required to proactively initiate and develop PR ideas and stories, as well as ways to build relationships between key individuals and the media\. You will be required to develop strong working relationships with business and external suppliers\. You will be required to proactively seek and recommend opportunities that will benefit the development of an overall company brand\. You have a deep understanding of the financial services environment and institutional investments in particular\. You have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively coupled with good negotiation skills\. You have the ability to work independently and meet deadlines and quality levels\. You have the ability to work effectively within a fast moving pressurized environment\. You are able to demonstrate living the company’s values; being transparent, passionate and innovative\. You have minimum 3 years current, relevant experience in a similar business to business marketing role; or current, relevant experience in business development at an asset manager; or minimum 3 years as part of an investment process team.
