Our brand, "CLAYOLOGIE" was launched after 9 years of research, testing and development by a team of experts who had noticed the need for locally manufactured premium polymer based clay at reasonable prices. Clayologie manufactures a consistent range of world-class polymer clay products that are proudly made in Cape Town, South Africa and can be shipped across the globe.
Our clays are renowned by top international and local artists and crafters alike, who say we sell high quality and versatile products that can be used by artists and crafters, young and old, to create anything from delicate flowers to sculptures.
Unlike air drying clays, our polymer clays remain workable for long periods and are only cured by heat – baking at 130C for 30 – 40 minutes in a domestic oven. They can be hand or mechanically conditioned prior to working and should some hardening/drying out occur over time we offer a softener. mechanical conditioning is often done with a domestic pasta machine.
To help you enjoy your experience of working with our oven baking clays, we also sell a wide range of tools and other products that have been carefully selected to enhance your craftsmanship and creations.
Sales are achieved via our e-commerce website at Clayologie.com (where the full range of clays and related products is available and easy to order at your convenience, 24/7) as well as through various stockists and a team of facilitators, who are independent artists that are experienced in the use of our products, keep stock and provide training classes and artistic support.
