I recently had an unfortunate experience with Dr. James Beatty (Ophthalmologist) and I am deeply dissatisfied with the service provided. I was initially provided with an estimated cost of approximately R900, but to my dismay, I received an invoice amounting to nearly R2,000. Despite being aware of the potential non-coverage by my medical fund, the company chose to mislead me regarding the actual costs.
Furthermore, there was a lack of transparency regarding the additional charges for the tests, which should have been communicated beforehand. This has left me feeling deceived and frustrated.
Overall, my encounter with Dr. James Beatty was extremely disappointing and unsatisfactory, with their deceptive billing practices and lack of transparency.
