DreamWorker - working for the unemployed, and striving to create employment opportunities in Cape Town and surrounding areas.
It is our goal to get as many people into employment opportunities as possible through our endeavours. And all donations received from satisfied employers or general donors go into generating even more days of work for the unemployed in their own communities via our Link of Love programme. We truly believe that every single person we help, means another life brightened, another ray of light in this, our rainbow nation. We will never ever stop in our quest to find a way to help those that need us to believe in them. Facilitated over 2,7 million days of work for people in the domestic, business, retail, food and industrial sectors. Generated over R350 million worth of wages for the previously unemployed! Our subsidiary programme, Link of Love, has been raising funds separately, to allow unemployed people to work in the community (R100 a day). DreamWorker’s Head Office is also currently part funded by an anonymous benefactor, who is deeply appreciative of the important positive impact that the DreamWorker team offers to unemployed people in their time of need. Supply a certified copy of your Grade 12 and any other certificates (if applicable). We will ask you to return at a later date if your documents are not fully in order. Please remember: Our organisation finds work for the unemployed, not people wanting different or better jobs. Give as much detail as possible regarding the age, personality, skills required, starting date, salary band, days required, etc. We will provide brief employee profiles for candidates applying for weekly or full time, monthly positions. Guiding workers towards realising their dreams Business Day, Monday, March 2009 Veteran interviewers will tell you that, regardless of the extent of their experience and capabilities, every so often they come across an interviewee who is more difficult to communicate with than a root canal patient with a mouthful of dentistry devices.
