Eddlesgas is a family business with strong family values and a personal commitment to all our clients. Established in 1972 by Tony Eddles, Eddlesgas has over the years become the preferred gas and equipment supplier for many of the Southern Suburbs’ residents and businesses. We try to make shopping with us as easy and convenient for you as possible, this is why we offer several payment options for both in-store customers, and customers who require deliveries. Complete with patented high pressure gas system and patented heat collector panels. Business and contract customers will be invoiced at their agreed rates. The size rating tells you how many liters of water the water heater can heat up per minute. Gas water heaters do not use storage tanks to store hot water, they heat the water as it passes through the unit so it ONLY heats the water you actually use. Modern gas water heaters do not use a constant pilot flame like the units of old. All the gas water heaters we sell, use an electronic ignition system, which lights the burners as soon as you open the tap and shuts the unit down COMPLETELY as soon as you close the taps. What this means is that if you installed a water heater that was much too large for what you actually wanted to use, you could end up with pressure drop issues where the unit will keep shutting down if you are not drawing enough hot water from the system to keep it going. ALWAYS ask one of our experts to recommend the correct size for your specific needs. The major advantage of a gas water heater however, is firstly that they do not use energy to store hot water when the taps are all closed, and secondly, LP gas has an extremely high calorific value, meaning that it burns with a very hot flame and only a small amount of gas is required to reach very high temperatures. All of our gas water heaters are fitted with a host of sensors that shut down the unit should anything reach critical limits, these include: Flame Failure devices, oxygen depletion sensors, Water temperature sensors to prevent boiling water inside the unit and exhaust gas sensors. Provided the unit is installed by a qualified gas practitioner and periodically serviced and checked, it should be perfectly safe. Unlike a traditional geyser, the gas water heaters heat the water AS YOU USE IT, so as long as you have enough gas, you will have hot water. If you have 100 people all taking showers after each other, the last person will STILL have hot water for themselves.
