ENTERPRISE ENGINEERING is a light engineering company that undertakes work in three major categories, namely production work, jobbing and project type work. PRODUCTION work is the core line of our business and entails the following: Components are manufactured from a variety of inputs, including samples or drawings provided by customers or components are designed for a specific application. The work is limited to relatively small parts with a high level of complexity in most cases. JOBBING work is undertaken on a very limited scale where customers require one off or very small batches of components to be manufactured or repaired and typically includes work such as the manufacturing of shafts, mechanical seal components, the machining of mould cavities for injection moulding tools etc. PROJECT work is undertaken in the cases where complete assemblies or subassemblies are required by our customers and normally would include the design of the assembly, including all calculations, drawings etc. Items that would be handled under the project category include machine building, press tool manufacture, larger subassemblies as for winches etc. At present ENTERPRISE ENGINEERING is training one apprentice turner and seventeen operators on the shop floor. Creative components, hinges, knobs, etc for the glass bonding industry including for export to Germany. S A Road Tankers Fuel transport tanker, filling/emptying control system components. Sparcraft/Southern Spars Fittings and components for yacht rigging Warehouse Enterprises Fuel transport tanker, filling/emptying control system components. ENTERPRISE ENGINEERING has been involved in the Glass Bonding industry since 1998 and has been actively doing research and development as well as designs for various projects.
