Ernst & Young Toastmasters, established 1988, is open to anyone looking to develop their communication and leadership skills. We are a member of Toastmasters International, a world leader in communication and leadership with more than 332,000 members and 15,400 clubs in 135 countries. Leaders head families, coach teams, run businesses and mentor others. These leaders must not only accomplish, they must communicate. Bradley at his completion of his Competent Communication manual walked away with the Best Speaker’s award. We are a member of Toastmasters International, a world leader in communication and leadership with more than 332,000 members and 15,400 clubs in 135 countries.The world needs leaders. Every members’ achievements are recognised internationally. Membership in Toastmasters is one of the greatest investments you can make in yourself! Visitors are welcome to attend a meeting before registering for membership. You can then see what the club is about and talk to some of the members. You can listen to some of the speeches and get a feel for the style of the Club. During this year (2016/2017), the club had achieved the highest accolade in the DCP program, placing our club as Presidents Distinguish Club for that year. Last night our Toastmaster for the evening was Kerry Ann Field who made us smile with our memories of summer. Our Best Speaker for the evening was Bradley Day who inspired us with his incredible speech about flying airplanes with Eagles. Come join us for an evening of entertainment and laughs, as contestants charm you with their wits! It is that time of the year that we vote in a new executive committee for the Ernst and Young Cape Town Toastmasters Club! This is an exciting time where each and every member has the opportunity to take on a specific role that glues the club together. We had a lovely evening, with Hilmarie Stephenson as the Toastmaster of the evening.
