Flora Force is a family owned company that was founded in 1989, developing its roots out of Dr Florrie Kerschbaumer’s homeopathic and naturopathic practice.
Proud of their roots and with a firm belief in the quality and true nature of their products, the Kerschbaumer family continually seeks new combinations to improve the quality of life of those using the Flora Force products.
In the early 1990’s Dr Florrie’s two eldest sons – Gerhard and Karl – took over the reigns of Flora Force to develop and streamline the manufacturing and production procedures into the quality products that Flora Force is known for today.
These formulas were developed and refined into the Flora Force brand of herbal products and made available to the open retail market.

She started her private practice in 1972 and developed many successful homeopathic and herbal formulas. These formulas were developed and refined into the Flora Force brand of herbal products and made available to the open retail market. Since 1989, Flora Force has grown into a well-known, trusted and successful natural product range. Dr Florrie’s daughter Annemarie has worked in her homeopathic practice as the administrative and dispensing manager since 1995 and in 2009 joined Flora Force to manage day to day administration and distribution together with her assistant Leatitia. Today, Flora Force carries a wide range of single and combination herbal capsules, tablets and tinctures for the retail market as well as dispensing practitioners. It is our philosophy is to use only top quality, full potency herbal ingredients in their natural and original composition (no standardized extracts). This enables Flora Force to provide high quality products which guarantee full natural strength, efficiency and safety. The Flora Force brand is dedicated to providing the public with safe and affordable, proudly South African products that they can trust. Flora Force has partnered with The Cape Forest Regeneration Project, a grass roots organization that seeks to green suitable under-utilized urban and rural areas. Central to its vision is to involve the broader community in beautifying the Southern Cape using indigenous plants. Although individuals and private landowners can participate, the project seeks foremost to revitalize parks, hospitals, schools, old age homes and similar public spaces. A key characteristic is that there is no cost associated to the recipient, but that the recipient is actively involved and acts as custodian. As a company that prides itself on its commitment to communities and the natural environment in which they exist, Flora Force’s ethos, goals and objectives resonate with those of The CFRP’s. By planting indigenous trees, there is an immediate benefit of carbon sequestration and beautification of the environment. Through community involvement the project seeks to build bridges and promote healing and wellness within families, communities, corporate entities and of course in a larger sense humanity and nature. The project seeks to derive income for its planting programme from corporate and social responsibility projects and volunteer contributions. The quaint little town of Suurbraak has individuals within the town participating through the careful planning and selection of plants for their own gardens. Clarke Estate Primary in Elsies River where the scholars and parents eagerly assists in beautifying the school grounds with trees sponsored by Flora Force Health Products. Cape Town Multi-service Centre, where the employees of Herbal-Homeopathic, manufacturer of Flora Force Products, participated in an arbour day celebration by planting trees along the social services hub in an on-going drive to green the industrial area of Salt River. Throughout Cape Town a number of individuals have received trees from the project to plant in less affluent areas like Lotus river, Hanover Park and Mitchell’s Plain. In 2011 Flora Force decided to replace annual gifts with a programme of continuous tree planting. One tree is donated to the CFRP for a set amount of product ordered by the various wholesalers and distributors.
