FocusOnPurpose is a Gospel-Centered Coach who coaches according to Biblical principles.
God has taken her on a very intense journey and has led her into an understanding of many aspects of this walk, and in the process has brought her into the rest Jesus spoke of when He said, "Come to Me, all who are burdened and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. People would tell her to ‘have faith’, but what was this faith? How did she know she had faith and not presumption? How could she differentiate between God’s voice and the many other voices that pulled her in opposing directions?. " After spending more than 15 years in constant mental and emotional exhaustion, René now enjoys a life of deep, satisfying rest, unexplainable peace and inexpressible joy, that remains even in the midst of trials.
In her walk with Christ, René found herself floundering in many areas as she became more and more aware of a gaping divide between Christian jargon and the application of that jargon. How does she walk this walk of faith?.
Much of Christianity today is little more than tradition and religion - we do not know relationship with Jesus Christ! Having walked the road is has become René's strong desire to support and encourage God’s people into a living, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ so that their lives can become a living testimony to a living all-powerful God.

Some will say that the main thing is different things to different people. Or when you have really poured everything into your goals and mission, only to collapse in a burnt-out heap, the question arises: Was my main thing really the main thing? As a result we are not standing on the solid rock of truth, but rather the shale of conflicting and contradictory thinking that offers no stability in the storms of life. Focus On Purpose seeks to set the spotlight on the main main thing: The building of a real and intimate relationship with the Creator God, in whose image we have been created. If we do not know Him, we cannot know what we have been created to be, and it is only in knowing who we are created to be, that we will find true and lasting fulfillment in life. The Main main thing is to know Him intimately, and in knowing Him, to love Him with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. As you touch or hover over each picture in the four small squares above, they will be magnified in the main square. This demonstrates what happens in our minds; what we focus on becomes enlarged in our minds, to the exclusion of other things. When we get to see a larger frame, and see how the smaller parts fit together, our understanding often shifts.
