Form-Scaff offers a free design service on all projects that uses our equipment exclusively. Form-Scaff offers an On-Site Coordination service to certain large construction projects that require a lot of equipment over a long period.For this, we place a well experienced Formwork Coordinator on site with support staff such as Draughtsman and Checkers. Form-Scaff is proud of its ability to offer fit for purpose products timeously to our clients via our fleet of over 70 trucks. Maintenance of Products are done at the individual Branches spread across the country, with major Refurbishment done at the National Distribution Centre in Johannesburg. Form-Scaff offers a full range of services to our client base that complements our impressive range of products. From detailed designs and manufacturing to transport, on-site technical support and anything in-between. Our Head Office, National Distribution Centre and Factory with all its staff is on standby to support and assist any customer needs that come in via our extensive branch network in South Africa and abroad. Ensuring effective Forming and or Shoring solutions for our customers, means having a team of highly experienced and dedicated designers at our disposal. Located in 5 regional Design Offices across the country, Form-Scaff employs around 50 well experienced Temporary Works Designers, Engineers and Project coordinators. Individual dedication to the projects they work on is evident. Modern analytical software, like structural- and Finite element analysis, is used to verify complicated structural solutions. These technologies are also applied in the research and development process of new and existing product ranges. Always endeavoring to offer the most globally modern and effective systems for the project. With the introduction of the new National Construction Regulations, promulgated in 2014, both the Temporary Works Designer and the Contractor is tasked to take responsibility for the design process. Form-Scaff, as the Temporary Works Designers, gladly accepts this task and our responsibility to ensure that the designs are able to be executed safely and effectively. Form-Scaff now offers their clients professional training at its state-of-the-art SAQUA registered, CETA accredited Training Academy in Johannesburg. The Academy offers various training courses across the complete Formwork & Scaffolding spectrum for all levels of people. Every course is conducted by professional Facilitators, Assessors & Moderators that has extensive experience in the applicable field to ensure the best quality training in SA. Conducted on or off-site, delegates have the opportunity to view the products in real life applications with hands-on practical training, delivering immediate competencies and lasting skills before erecting and dismantling the various systems in their work environment. Includes product identification, safe use as well as assembling and dismantling of the various Form-Scaff systems such as Kwik-Stage, Econo-Form, Tifa etc. This training is aimed at people working on site with the kit every day who have 1 to 3 years’ experience in the field of scaffolding and formwork. This training is aimed at the person who has the knowledge and experience of scaffolding and formwork and wants to know more about things like concrete pressures and wants to expand his knowledge, maybe go on to designing formwork. These courses teach the Formwork Designer the skills to correctly how to design his or her temporary works. It is our mission is to provide relevant, knowledge based, practical training that not only meets, but exceeds Health and Safety requirements.
