Friends of Design - Academy of Digital Arts, Adobe Authorised Training Centre (AATC) offers computer, software and conceptual training in the field of Digital Design.

This course consists out of a series of lectures and practical workshops aimed at developing a full range of skills required for developing flexible information based systems for the web. Adobe Photoshop can be used for practically anything image related, which includes photo manipulation, image retouching and correction, special effects, digital illustrations or the creation of artwork starting with a blank canvas. This course has been designed to offer world class concept art education in South Africa. It begins with the focus on fundamentals which includes the study of perspective, drawing and anatomy, digital painting and basic 3D modelling. Then get an exciting career in digital entertainment! Our accredited one-year, practical Print Design and Publishing course is designed to give you a thorough understanding of the print media environment. In this one year course, learners will gain the practical and technical skills required to create professional looking, fast, and especially, device-agnostic 2D animations, video clips, sound effects and voice-overs, websites, emailers, and more.
