Iconic elements and vintage details are reinvented with a contemporary aesthetic. A playful mix of iridescent colors speak to the whimsical inspiration throughout the collection. The appliqués are skillfully hand-applied to each piece by specialized artisans. This process ensures that no two items will be alike, giving each a one-of-a-kind appearance. The contrast buckles pay homage to the House’s past, when artisans would repair luggage by replacing worn straps with new ones in any colors that were available. A suede ankle boot with crepe rubber sole, embellished with embroidered appliqués representing two distinctive emblems of the House. Alessandro Michele captures the powerful energy of the tiger-one of Gucci's most important animal motifs-juxtaposed with whimsical cloud embroideries. It has quickly become one of Gucci’s most distinctive codes.
