Established in 1986, the gallery that's named after it's street address is recognized both for it's sense of style and assortment of fine art. Gallery 91 and it's subsidiary Frames & Things source treasures from artists, designers, skilled crafters famous and obscure from all over. The result is an eclectic collection that is both exciting and vibrant, and available exclusively from our easy to reach store. We're sure you'll find something you love at Gallery For me they are significant for the fact that they are ancient, awesome, magnificent and continually remind us of God’s creation. Light and clouds change our view of them, displaying different facets and emphasizing their beauty, yet they remain the same, they are there in the morning when we wake and in the evening when the sun goes down. The South African Society of Artists (founded 1902) aims to promote and encourage art in SA. One by one, paintings were presented to us, studied carefully and a scored. Born in 1960, East London, Sandy Thomas studied Fine Art under Jack Lugg, and in her final year received the Fine Art Student of the Year award. Her commissions include: South African Embassy, University of Transkei, De Beers, Dept. Her Eastern Cape Landscape paintings and drawings are represented in Australia, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, South Africa, Spain, Canada, Holland and the USA. An ever changing selection of gifts and home decor sourced locally and internationally. On fine days your meal can be enjoyed in our secluded garden and on winter days next to a cozy fire place.
