GOODWOOD ARMED PATROLS are area based and work hand in hand with the Goodwood SAPD and can respond to any given emergency in minimum time. GOODWOOD ARMED PATROLS was established in 1996 and many successes have been achieved. Our night shift response team arrested 3 suspects for attempted burglary but had to let them go when the client decided not to lay charges. They had bags ready and they ran towards Frans Conradie when they were spotted. Goodwood SAPS arrived shortly after and took the suspect away. This morning our Marketing Team was out and about with Response Officers, joining them, to hand out some flyers. Often, serious crime in our area involves vehicles. Crime is on the increase, and our surrounding suburbs already have multiple LPR cameras installed. Should a vehicle logged on the system enter our area, an alert notification is sent to our response teams. Only wanted or suspicious vehicles loaded on the database are flagged. We are able to monitor all types of emergency signals such as panic and alarm signals from your security system. In addition we are also capable of monitoring open and closing signals, AC failure & AC restore signals, battery low signals and other customer specific signals. Our trained technicians simply reprogram your existing system to report to our control room. When you’re feeling threatened you can simply press a pre-assigned speed dial number. We will briefly discuss the procedure for you, as our client, to have a better understanding of what is expected of you and us at Goodwood Armed Patrols, when an emergency situation occurs. When your alarm is activated a signal is sent to Goodwood Armed Patrols control room via radio and/or telephone. Once we have arrived on the scene and we require law enforcement, the local SAPS would be notified via radio.
