Some of the exports being collapsible coffins to Malawi, China and Crockery to Japan, motors to the UK and electric kettles to various sub-Saharan countries. Over the years the demand for importing industrial floor care spares and equipment for the local market resulted in a number of European companies being represented. To facilitate this, a network of dealers was set up nationally being serviced from our Cape Town offices. This is when the current MD, Peter Halperin joined the company. Halden Export Enterprises, South Africa, has subsequently gone from strength to strength and has recently doubled its office, training and warehousing facilities as well as increasing the staff compliment to include dedicated sales and marketing personnel.
