Aspects such as aesthetics, ergonomics, product semantics and underlying mechanical design are investigated through concept sketches, presentation drawings and three-dimensional models. This phase is highly interactive with the main focus on determining and meeting the customer’s overall design requirements. Ideso has built up a reliable, ever increasing network of experts, suppliers and manufacturers. We prefer to source manufacture in South Africa, but also have extensive manufacturing suppliers abroad including in China, Europe and the U.SA SolidWorks design software allows for the concurrent design of aesthetics and engineering. 2D technical drawings are produced for product qualification and assembly instructions. Extensive experience in manufacturing methods allows us to design for manufacture, choosing the most suitable processes and materials to suit your requirements. Our network allows us to include services like digitising, finite element analysis, tooling design and mould flow analysis.
