Situated in the beautiful Franschhoek Valley in South Africa’s Cape winelands, La Motte is home to the finest wines, recognised internationally for exceptional quality. For Suiderland Plase we have implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV as their financial management system, and it includes consignment trading and fresh produce export functionality, provided through a specialist module for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, for which Linc is the local distribution and implementation partner in South Africa. This project covers their head office financial management requirements, across several legal entities, and full implementation at their packhouse operations and farms. With their financial and marketing head offices situated in Franschoek, we rolled out our Microsoft Dynamics NAV integrated with WineMS solution across the Franschoek office and the operations and the Robertson estate. The oldest registered farm in the Cape, Steenberg Vineyards produces a range of much-loved wines through a process of environmentally considerate and dedicated winemaking. They use the solution for financial management and their ostrich processing operations. The Afrifresh Group is one of South Africa’s top producers, with large Citrus and Grape production at its strong base. Today it owns 17 farming entities, which operate 22 farms and 2 independent pack houses in South Africa and is partnered with more than 50 growers in various regions. We also built integration to their operational systems. Pioneer Fishing is a trawling and fish processing business that produces a wide range of fish products for local and export markets. For Pioneer Fishing we are implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 as their financial management system, and it includes consignment trading and fresh produce export functionality, provided through a specialist module for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, for which Linc is the local distribution and implementation partner in South Africa. Delecta is currently supplying leading retailers and wholesalers with stone fruit, table grapes, apples, pears and citrus from all the major supply regions in Southern Africa. Delecta is proud to be associated with Graaff Fruit & De Grendel. Founded in 2003, Star South was initially established as a wholesaler in the South African fruit market. Star South’s vision is to develop an optimized global supply chain. It is one of the largest branded product exporters in South Africa, taking its portfolio of award-winning wines to 39 countries around the globe. They use the solution for financial management and all sales and distribution. Further interoperability with their wine production operations are provided through seamless integration to WineMS. As a second project, we rolled Microsoft Dynamics NAV out to their grape juice concentrate division, Orange River Concentrate Producers, where it is used for financial management and manufacturing operations. Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards is a leading wine producer situated in South Africa’s famous Franschhoek Valley. Sourcing grapes from selected vineyards in the Western Cape winelands, Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards produces and markets quality wines under the Leopard’s Leap label, aimed at consumers with a preference for affordable, easy-drinking wines, fit for any occasion. For Leopard’s Leap, we have implemented our industry-leading winery solution of Microsoft Dynamics NAV integrated with WineMS.
