We have a program of ongoing technical training for all staff members & directors, and we form partnerships with our coating suppliers to back this up, on site. Paint Finesse has all necessary accreditation and organizational memberships to ensure full compliance with Building Industry and Health & Safety requirements. Paint Finesse team members have the following accreditation's Scaffold Erection Training & Inspection, Asbestos handling, Rope Access & Rig Training. We provide rope access and scaffolding solutions for multi-storey buildings, according to Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) requirements. Our passion lies in expert preparation of all surfaces, including hydro-blasting, sanding, technical fillings as well as project- specific technical backup from our partners in coatings manufacture to ensure longer lasting finishes, and thus cost savings. Water penetration and rising & lateral damp in structures can cause very costly damage to these structures as well as other fixtures & fittings. We adopt a multi-disciplinary approach to assess and repair an existing problem, and, most importantly, to provide long term protection against future damage. An important part of the redecoration process is often the repairs and joint sealing required to prevent further costly structural damage. Paint Finesse will undertake a full assessment of the damage types and our experienced staff will implement the appropriate technologies such as pre-fabricated control joint strips, polyurethane foam injection, semi-rigid epoxy resin crack fillers and hydraulic cements for concrete or other masonry floors, foundations, or wall repairs of cracks & leaks. Again, the correct preparation of joints or structures for sealing and repairs is crucial to the longevity of the affected structures. Paint Finesse provides solutions for cleaning, painting and repairing or replacing roofs. Our Hydro-Blast system works very effectively at deep cleaning roof surfaces before redecorating. With the roof taking up a large percentage of a building’s exterior, an effective cleaning & recoating application can make a vast difference to the building’s appearance and valuation. This highly toxic material needs specialized handling skills, and is still found in many older buildings & roof structures. Frits has a B.A (Hons) in Police Science and spent 27 highly successful career years in the SA Police Force, leaving as a full colonel to start his own security company, Security 21, which he built up & sold to the Bidvest Group in Frits also became a ward councilor as well as councilor for the Vaal Metropolitan Council. He settled in Blouberg, Cape Town in 2007 from where Paint Finesse was started. FJ matriculated as headboy of his boarding school in In 2008 he followed in his fathers’ footsteps and started his own business, Wetcor Cape, which has become a highly respected company in the Waterproofing Industry, with ongoing corporate contracts. They honed and refreshed their skills and knowledge of the exterior redecorating industry, with an asessment and certification to follow in early 2013.
