Daryn is a Hypnotherapist, and Metaphysical Counsellor operating in Durbanville, Cape Town, who helps empower people and create positive changes in their life. This has been the most rewarding journey for Daryn, as he feels privileged to have been part of the process of personal transformation for a client. He is passionate about empowering people to help themselves, and being the best they can be so they can enjoy life to the full, with the help of hypnosis. He has a thirst for knowledge to get the most up to date, and revolutionary skills to effect change in himself and clients. He has studied with some of the best trainers and experienced therapists in the world and in the industry. He first studied with UK Hypnotist Andrew Newton, the man who originally taught British stage hypnotist Paul Mckenna. Later advancing his skills and training with Barrie St John, a well know Harley Street (UK) Hypnotherapist and Gestalt Therapist, during this time he was able to add a large amount of information, and tools to his skill set such as, Gestalt Techniques, Hypno-Sensory Therapy, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing). Keeping with cutting edge techniques, Daryn enrolled with the South African Institute of Hypnosis (SAIH), the leading hypnosis training institute in SA. His skill set was further enhanced by Claudia Klein when he completed his training in Parts Therapy which is a revolutionary approach to shifting inner conflict within clients, Claudia is one of the only qualified trainers on the African Continent! and has trained more than 150 therapists countrywide in this technique. She furthermore, was the innovator of the Resource Strategy Approach, yet another revolutionary client centered technique to enable lasting change. Daryn is proud to be associated with the SAIH due to the constant updates and techniques they bring to the world of therapy. On his quest to help clients he also trained as a Metaphysical Counselor, and Life line Counselor, ensuring he was able to offer the best tools for the job. His grounded approach and quest for new and innovative ways to do things, has earned him great respect within the local medical community, as a complimentary therapist. Daryn believes in being an active member of the community he is a volunteer for the SAPS in their victim support program, which is an initiative to offer support and empowerment to those that are victims of crime. He believes that if you want to effect change in your world you need to get involved in the change.
