If required we offer CAD rendering and manufacture in gold, palladium, and platinum. We are happy to remodel old jewellery or use the metal and gemstones to create something new. If the metal cannot be used, then it is credited towards the cost. We refuse to use the cheapest metal alloys and we will never offer you a diamond or gemstone that is of inferior quality. We also try to support local suppliers as much as possible. Petra studied jewellery design and manufacture in Cape Town, South Africa and gained her practical experience as a goldsmith working in Namibia and later in Cape Town. She then focused her skills on custom jewellery design and sales, and furthered her education by attending professional courses in diamond grading and diamond retailing. As a professional jewellery designer, she is renowned for her careful consideration of the clients’ expectations in her creations while her experience as a jeweller and goldsmith gives her a solid understanding of the construction and craftsmanship of each piece of contemporary jewellery created. Petra enjoys interacting with her clients and interpreting their ideas into unique designs and beautiful pieces of jewellery. She takes great pride in the quality of the craftsmanship and the selection of exquisite diamonds and gemstones. In her work as a professional designer of bespoke jewellery pieces, Petra offers a service which is highly personal and aims to meet the unique requirements of each individual client. If required we offer CAD rendering and casting in gold, palladium, and platinum. We create our unique jewellery pieces, engagement rings and diamond wedding rings, using quality precious metals. For hand-manufacture we prefer palladium as an alloy in our white gold which ensures a grey-white colour without any yellow undertone. All white gold jewellery is rhodium coated and the change in colour is less noticeable than on other white gold alloys. Platinum is a naturally white metal which is harder and heavier than gold. Its density and weight make it more durable than other jewellery metals. An International Diamond Laboratory Certificate confirms the characteristics unique to your diamond: cut, colour, clarity and carat weight. It also guarantees that your diamond is a natural stone from a legitimate source and has not undergone enhancement treatment. Specific emphasis is placed on the diamond’s cut, as perfect proportions unleash the true brilliance and beauty of your stone. Moissanite can be used on its own or in combination with small diamonds in complementing colours. It is also an excellent choice for earrings and pendant necklaces. The big four are Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald and Tanzanite which we source from reputable local suppliers. We do not restring pearl necklaces but we can refer you to people who offer that service. A spending budget is a necessary consideration before purchasing bespoke jewellery and it really helps us to quote more effectively if we have a budget to work with. You will receive a detailed e-mail quotation from us to enable you to make an informed decision. We offer advice and guidance with the design of your bespoke jewellery piece. Petra will liaise with the goldsmith or the workshop to oversee the manufacture of your jewellery item.
