Plasmatreat is involved in plasma engineering and manufacture of proprietary technology atmospheric pressure plasma surface treatment systems.

Working in partnership with our customers, we develop innovative applications for tomorrow's products. The main target areas for Plasmatreat applications are industrial microfine cleaning, surface activation and plasma coating of surfaces made of materials such as plastic, metals, glass, board, textiles and composites. Plasmatreat invests over 12% of its annual sales revenue in research & development and holds more than 120 patents on plasma equipment and processes. The drive to innovate is inseparably bound up with the history of Plasmatreat’s emergence. To this day, a majority of our employees work exclusively in research and development. In close cooperation with prestigious institutes and universities, we develop processes for the innovative products of tomorrow. More and more conventional industrial pretreatment methods are being replaced by plasma technology in order to make processes more effective and environmentally friendly. Every day we work on developing new and creative solutions to meet our customers’ challenges. With our own technology centers and sales teams at 34 different locations around the world, the Plasmatreat group has a global presence. Backed by 20 years of experience, we can say with conviction that the future belongs to Plasma. The potential for application of plasma technology is virtually inexhaustible. Many complex and pollutive chemical processes in industry can be replaced by plasma technology. More than 10% of Plasmatreat’s employees work in research and development.
