In 1968 Sandy Gold opened the doors of Plumstead Electrical in Cape Town's Southern Suburbs, after which the lighting showroom was built. Sandy's dream has grown to encompass two successful branches and has become a formidable family business. Okavango Lighting, our sister lighting showroom was part of Sandy's vision of servicing Cape Town's Northern Suburbs, and has also become a household name in the lighting world. Sandy's legacy is being carried by his two sons Bruce and Glenn Gold. Their unwavering commitment and dedication to their clients is evident in this tight-knit industry. With some of the staff having worked in the business for over twenty years, this is true testament to the company being an authentic family affair.
