The directors play an active role in the day to day activities and the firsthand production of designs and documentation of projects. He is a member of the South African Association for Consulting Engineers and specialises in structural design with emphasis on reinforced and post-tensioned concrete. His work focuses on the design of civil infrastructure and roads project. He joined the civil engineering division of Qunu Consulting (Pty) Ltd In 2007 where he specialised in roads and civil infrastructure projects and has since gained extensive experience in the design, supervision and management of these types of projects. In addition to these prominent projects he was involved in various other civil infrastructural and roads projects over his 16 year career as a consulting engineer. He specializes in structural engineering and has extensive experience in the conceptual and detail design of reinforced and tensioned concrete structures as well as structural steel design in the building, industrial and sport industries. Design and documentation of reinforced concrete and post-tensioned applications including civil structures, deep basements, structural rehabilitation and marine structures. We also specialize in the design of structural steel structures for the commercial, industrial and telecommunications industries. Design and documentation of bulk earthworks, civil engineering services such as sewer, storm water drainage, water supply reticulation for residential and industrial township developments as well as retail, commercial and residential building developments. Total management of all aspects of project development including the co-ordination and administration of design and construction activities, financial and programming control and quality assurance. Our extensive expertise in this field enables us to assist architects and building designers to produce safe, economical and practical buildings within their aesthetic requirements. Fire fighting services include design for all types of buildings including warehouses and distribution facilities. We have extensive expertise in the design of hot water generation plant to meet the criteria for energy efficient buildings. Design and execution of multi-disciplinary industrial projects, including textile, electronic, chemical, food and general factories, wine cellars and recreational facilities. This includes conceptual planning, building design, engineering design, co-ordination, project and construction management as well as financial control.
