I’ve had some very bad experiences with painters and waterproofers in the past. They get to site late, leave early and take short cuts at every opportunity. The teams on site are hardly ever managed and you always have the feeling that they’re rushing your job to get to the next one. The team did not leave until the days work was done. What impressed me the most was how thorough the preparation work was, as I’m a firm believer that if the prep is done right, the job lasts longer and there is little chance for comebacks. The whole house was given an undercoat, areas that needed a texture to mask defects where done very well, and the overall quality of the paint and waterproofing work is very high. Even my neighbour came around to tell me how impressed he was with the team that he saw working on my house. They painted the outside of my house a couple of years ago, and have now painted and repaired the inside. On both occasions they impressed me with a skilled team of workers and a hands-on supervisor with a good eye for detail. We were also happy with good communication throughout. They did much more than we expected of them, finished quickly, and took great pride in their work.
