While there, he completed a B.Com (Hons) in Financial and Portfolio Management at the University of Cape Town, and gained valuable investment advisory experience. Ian is a co-founder and Executive Director to Seed. After graduating from the University of Pretoria in 1996 with a B.Com (Hons) in Actuarial Science, Vincent started his career at Sanlam, where he steadily progressed in his career until moving to the UK in After returning to South Africa in 2002, Vincent co-managed one of the first institutional Fund of Hedge Funds in South Africa at Novare Investments. During this time he was also involved in the creation and implementation of investment strategies for some of South Africa’s largest pension funds. Vincent is a co-founder and Executive Director to Seed. In 1998 Sean joined Origin, now RMB Private Bank, and departed as CEO in 2011 after four highly successful years at the helm. Sean is currently an Executive and the Chief Financial Officer of the Hereford Group as well as a Non-Executive Director to Seed. Michael established the Hereford Group as a Liberty franchise in 1995 and has successfully grown it into one of South Africa’s leading Wealth Management Groups, with offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. As Chief Executive Officer of Hereford, Michael is responsible for the smooth daily running of the company as well as the development of the long-term strategy of Hereford and it’s affiliated companies. Michael, a leader in the Wealth Management field, is a Non-Executive Director to Seed. Robert has 25 years of financial services and investment experience, including the management of companies and portfolios for institutions, retirement funds, life assurance companies, collective investment schemes and private clients. Ian became actively involved in the financial markets when he joined Sharenet as a director and shareholder in the late 1990s, where he gained valuable investment advisory experience. Ian started the forerunner to Seed Investments in Ian is currently CIO of the Seed group of companies responsible for managing collective investment scheme and segregated portfolios locally and offshore. In 1998 Sean joined Origin Bank, now RMB Private Bank and departed as CEO in 2011 after four successful years at the helm. Sean is CEO of the Seed group of companies and CFO of the Hereford Group.
