We are one of the pioneers of the speciality coffee roasting in South Africa and have been operating our roastery on Lourensford Estate since 2003.

About 1.4 billion cups of coffee are consumed on every full turn of our planet. The coffee tree is indigenous to the rain forests of Ethiopia. Coffee tastes much better if ground from beans just before brewing and drunk immidiately after. The estate includes 537 hectares of which 150 hectares are cultivated with shade trees, including pine, ceder, avocado, cypress and others. A percentage goes to planting indigenous trees while educating children on environmental concerns. The body is full and rich, the aroma fragrant with notes of blueberry. And with eight aroma levels, you can further customise your coffee experience. Separate spouts for coffee, milk and hot water maintain absolute, TÜV-certified hygiene. Simply touch the button for coffee that fulfils your wildest dreams. Four products can be individually programmed on the start screen and assigned any name. By perfecting the cutting angle inside the grinding cone, the JURA engineers have managed to increase efficiency significantly. As a result, the perfect aroma can now be achieved in all its natural fullness in half the grinding time. So now coffee lovers can enjoy pure and perfect coffee indulgence with less preparation time and less noise. The powder chute for ground coffee can be used for additional coffee varieties such as a decaffeinated blend. It creates airy, feather-light milk foam with an exceptionally high-quality consistency for the perfect cappuccino or latte macchiato, and is a breeze to dismantle and clean. Two separate pipe systems for coffee and milk guarantee perfect results and hygiene.
