We are located on Forest Drive in the centre of Pinelands and are a personally run establishment that has been star graded by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. We have five (5) well appointed and very comfortable en suite units. One of the units is a spacious studio that can accommodate those who want to self cater. At The Oval Bed and Breakfast we pay attention to detail making sure that our guests comfort and care always comes first. Breakfast is included in the rate and is served in the dining room of the main house. A cooked breakfast is on offer, as well as a selection of cereals, fruit salad, cheese, yoghurts, buns, toast, tea, filter coffee, and fruit juice. There is secure off street parking, and a swimming pool that guests are welcome to make use of. The Oval Bed and Breakfast has been in operation since the year 2000 and Mike and Louise Minnaar are personally at hand to assist and care for the guests. We offer shuttles, and are always happy to advise on what to see and where to go, in order that you can make the most of your stay in Cape Town. Self Catering rates are available for the Mountain View unit. Children (under the age of 12 ) sharing the unit can be accommodated at an additional cost of R 100.00 per night. Pinelands is a very convenient suburb of Cape Town and is ideally situated for both the business and leisure traveller. This is a comfortable sized en suite ground floor unit. It is attached to, but separate from the main house and looks out onto the garden. It has a private entrance, and an outdoor sitting area. The en suite bathroom has a large shower and the bedroom is furnished in a classic style with percale linen, a queen bed and a desk/table. This is a comfortable sized, sunny, en suite, ground floor unit. It is attached to, but separate from the main house, and is next door to Gardenside. The en suite bathroom has a shower and the bedroom is furnished in a cottage style with percale linen, a queen bed and a desk/table. This is a spacious, carpeted, upmarket room on the first floor. The bed is an extra length king size that can be converted to two singles. There is generous cupboard space, an en-suite bathroom with a large shower, percale linen and a desk to work at. This is a 55 square metre studio on the first floor that can also be used as a self catering option. This beautifully appointed room is very spacious, has a private entrance, and a deck overlooking the mountain and the cricket fields behind us. The bed is extra length king sized, that can be converted to two singles if necessary. The bed linen is percale cotton and there are throws and extra blankets for your comfort. The bathroom has a large shower with an extra hand held converter shower for your comfort or for a small child. There is an equipped kitchenette area, whilst the sitting area has a sleeper couch and a table with chairs that can be used for meals or to work at. This studio is ideal for those who want comfort for a longer stay.
