About Two Oceans Marine Manufacturing Two Oceans Marine Manufacturing was founded in 1989 and has evolved into one of South Africa’s leading custom boat and yacht manufacturing yards. The Two Oceans 82HPC is an 82 foot full carbon high performance sailing catamaran in production at Two Ocean Marine Manufacturing in Cape Town, South Africa. She is designed for performance sailing, yet she is luxurious and built for comfort. Currently in build is the Open Ocean 850 Expedition Catamaran, a bigger sister of the two Open Ocean 800 Expedition Catamarans currently in build. Examples of successfully completed commercial projects are: Survey Boats. Two Oceans Marine specialises in the manufacturer of custom-designed and built Expedition Catamarans and Day Charter Catamarans. The first Open Ocean 750 Expedition Catamaran was launched in 2012 and the second one is in production. The Expedition Catamaran Range are robust yet luxurious, comfortable and functional for living aboard while chasing perfect fishing or kitesurfing conditions, surf or dive spots, or that perfect holiday destination. The Day Charter Catamaran Range is customised for luxurious and comfortable day charters. References from existing customers, both leisure and commercial. South African Maritime Safety and Construction regulations, together with the latest European certification standards, are adhered to and exceeded in the design and manufacture of all Two Oceans Marine vessels. Each model is designed according to the intended use and area of operation. Specific attention is paid to the hydrodynamic capabilities of the hull. These standards are in line with current ISO standards applicable to Europe. All materials used in production, are sourced from reputable suppliers with quality control standards, and the ability to ensure continued supply of specified product. All staff are qualified to perform the tasks allocated to them. Key staff are highly experienced in their individual areas and in turn are involved in the end use and testing of the various vessels. On-site service by capable and qualified staff is essential to the safe and efficient operation of seagoing vessels. Problems are correctly identified thereby enabling the swift repair of vessels. Two Oceans Marine Manufacturing is a factory approved fitment centre for all leading brands of marine equipment.
