TOUR DESCRIPTION This tour gives the visitor an idea of Cape Town life over the last few centuries. We begin our tour with a brief history and then we move to Adderley Street where flowers have been sold for centuries. Here you are given the opportunity to interact with the sellers and hear their interesting stories. Throughout the duration of the tour we show you the influences on Cape Town by the Dutch, the indigenous Khoisan, the slave trade, the British and later the Apartheid regime. This is a fascinating walk through time and events that shaped our city and its people. We pass the old Reservoir before crossing over to the Grand Parade. WHAT WE DO & DON’T OFFER We offer a free snack pack for the journey; a local delicacy tasting and photographs of the day will be uploaded to Facebook, if required. TOUR DESCRIPTION Experience the local city culture and a wine tasting at Cape Town’s only winery operating in the city. We view a number of historic sites in the Garden and sample a local delicacy. WHAT WE DO & DON’T OFFER Costs of the tour include a single wine tasting, a local delicacy, Bo-Kaap museum entry fees, a free snack pack for the journey and photographs of the day will be uploaded to Facebook, if required. TOUR DESCRIPTION This tour takes in a fascinating view of the unique architectural styles in Cape Town. We visit two historic townhouses along the way and view various unique buildings and structures. Into the Company’s Garden for a tea break (for your own account) Return through the Company’s Garden to view the Parliament buildings, Public Library and St George’s Cathedral. On our return we visit Greenmarket Square to view the old Town House. We pass the Old Mutual building (Cape Revival style building with fascinating frieze) before returning to the Castle of Good Hope where the tour ends.
