UpSouth Adventures, an Official Partner of BMW Motorrad, is based in Cape Town, South Africa and conduct unique and adventurous motorcycle tours within Southern Africa and beyond. Our amazing team has over 8 years experience in the travel and motorcycle tour industry. UpSouth Adventures has thoroughly scouted all corners of Southern Africa, to bring you the best routes, accommodations and attractions this wildly beautiful destination has to offer. We are so very passionate in sharing our love for Africa with you. Making things easy. UpSouth Adventure will plan your whole route with great roads, beautiful scenery and handpicked accommodation. Your tour guide and back-up vehicle will also provide that reassurance and comfort so you can just enjoy the freedom of the road. You then have the freedom to follow the tour guide on certain days or travel at your own pace on others; meet up with the group for lunch or go on your own adventure! Just follow the planned route and the back-up vehicle will still be there, just in case. It is recommended to take, additional motorcycle luggage (optional), available from us, just to pack your daily things. This way we will have no delays in taking a shower, getting into your safari gear, relaxing with a beer and reminisce about the thrilling day you just had. People make all the difference. Since then Werner has guided tours and travelled Southern Africa extensively, all the way up to the equator. Combining his love of travel, nature and the underwater world, Marcio started working for one of the biggest cruise lines in the world. After only a few months, he climbed the ranks and has never looked back. You can trust that he will ensure your experience to be exceptional. m ari d e villiers 'the professional tourist' Mari has travelled throughout Southern Africa since she can remember. Born in the Cape, she has always had an immense love for the region, the big open spaces and the long lonely roads. After graduating university and starting a successful career in design & marketing, she soon got bored with life in the office. She found herself working alongside Marcio on the biggest cruise liner in the world and they become a formidable team. Her family moved to Munich and after 3 years in Germany she returned to a bilingual English/Afrikaans school. Ute's great love for 'creating objects of beauty', in conjunction with her creative talents and love of attention to detail, gave rise to a vision for her art and she studied Jewellery Design and Manufacture in Cape Town. In return, y ou will never catch Ute without a smile, she is always the happy one, no matter what. She carries a sense of contentness, which is more often that not, contagious. Like a swallow, we have travelled the world, following summer, just to come back home, and it is this home, Africa, that we want to share with you.
