The TV lounge offers satellite TV, HI-FI and is a great place for a cup of coffee to plan the day ahead of you, or after a day exploring beautiful Cape Town. It boasts a central fireplace and two deep leather couches. The spacious area opens up into the sun lounge, which is a well lit room all year round and exits to the patio overlooking the pool. For an interesting twist why not try horse back riding through one of the many beautiful vineyards in the Franschhoek valley, or a picnic style lunch is also an option from many farms if you want to embrace nature and relax while enjoying some delicious wine? Cape Peninsula Tour: This is a lovely day out getting to see our beautiful peninsula including a trip up Table Mountain (weather permitting) a scenic and breathtaking drive along our coast line from Sea Point, Clifton, Bantry Bay, Camps Bay and through to Hout Bay a possible boat trip, (weather permitting) then we drive on one of our most beautiful mountain passes called Chapman’s Peak and visit Cape Point Nature reserve. Then a visit to the penguin colony at Boulders Beach, after which we shall stop in a lovely little naval town called Simon’s Town. Then we drive through Fishhoek, Kalk bay and Muizenburg all of which are quaint coastal towns, stopping at points of interest along the way. We then take the scenic drive through Constantia and make our way home! This promises to be a full day of sight seeing and lots of beautiful photos. Plenty opportunity to take photos of wild life up close and personal, we then drive to a nearby coastal town for light lunch at one of the beachfront restaurants, West Coast style! Half day City Tour: This is a tour to help introduce you to Cape Town city centre, we will visit the oldest building in South Africa, the Castle after which we take a walk through the Company Gardens where Jan Van Riebeek first planted vegetables and grape vines to trade with the passing ships in the mid 1600’s. We also can visit the oldest museum in South Africa which is at the top of the Company Gardens. We walk past the houses of parliament, and St. Georges Cathedral. We walk through the centre of town to the very colourful Green Market Square which is an African market where one can bargain with the locals for curios, African jewellery and clothing!
