acsis VOB running club is the largest running club in the Western Province area.

The Club has long and illustrious history dating back to these early days. To develop and foster the sport of athletics amongst its members. To encourage its members to participate in athletics at all levels. To provide coaching and facilities to enable members to participate at all levels. Represent the interests of its members at all levels. Promote non-racialism and combat unfair discrimination at all levels. K-Way is South Africa's leading brand of technical outdoor apparel and gear. K-Way is used and loved by South Africans both locally and globally. Jog Squad is made for beginners and those re-habing from not running for a while! You will join a family of members who train, race and socialise together. a Club based in Kwa-Zulu Natal, with whom we have a reciprocal Two Oceans & Comrades hosting arrangement. The race is run over a truly spectacular and arguably the most beautiful route in the Western Cape. The course leads one through the historic wine farms of Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia, Buitenverwachting and Constantia Uitsig and brings a runner back to the meaning of running. The exciting 14km route follows most of the standard Grape Run route, but it will only include the lower sections of the vineyards, still giving participants the opportunity to run in one of the most beautiful areas of Cape Town. The K-Way Table Mountain 16km Race is a spectacular run from Constantia Nek up the jeep track to the top of Table Mountain and back. At its inception (1978) it was the first organised Trail Run in the country. The route follows the historic Bridal Path up to and around the Woodhead dam. Whether you’re competing seriously or just for laughs, everyone’s welcome. We enjoyed hosting a record field and invite you back in 2014, which should be bigger and better! We will be engaging with WPA to assist with a possible date in the future and will advise accordingly. For those who have already entered, we will be in touch in the next week regarding entry fees already paid. Again, we wish the best for the efforts of our firefighters and other volunteers.
