Zen Chair has been manufacturing backrests for the indoor meditation and retreat centre community since Their durability has been tested over all these years and come up tops. It comes with a handy carry strap which comfortably fits on your shoulder. We pay our staff generously and choose to give you a quality product that will be with you for years. We recommend the Original Zen for studios and indoor spaces and spaces with uncarpeted wooden floors. They can be made in colours of your choice so long as the order is for 6 or more units.It can be made with a water resistant base panel if requested. There will be an additional charge for this option. It is made of a heavier gauge steel than the Original Zen and features a strong, welded hinge which allows you to fold it easily and simply carry it with a shoulder strap. The Ashram is great if you carry it to classes etc. We recommend that you purchase the Zen Cushion as well as it compliments the Ashram increasing your comfort and support. The Galileo is similar to the Ashram but has a more relaxed back position for recreational use. It folds in an instant and can be carried with the clever shoulder strap addition. It is perfect for music concerts or picnics at Kirstenbosch or similar. The Galileo comes in red or navy blue oxford nylon which is water resistant and great for outdoor use. The Ashram Zen comes in Cotton, Poly Cotton or water resistant Oxford Nylon fabrics and is designed to hold your spine straight for meditation and formal workshop sitting.
