Bomax is a young, Dion Max Walters and Frank Böhm, by the founding members, that was started in 2000, dynamic firm of dedicated architects, who both graduated from UPE.

Bomax is a firm of dedicated and experienced architects pursuing a unique contemporary style of architecture. A consistent portfolio of international and national projects include commercial buildings, upmarket residential homes and retail interiors. Bomax is proud to be a part of the 2014 Design Capital Initiative and are here to make a difference to our urban horizon. Skilled registered architects and technologists work together in teams resolving architecture by developing design through a comprehensive sequence of services. The design abilities of Bomax team of creative and skilled architects are diverse, this has allowed the firm different types of projects and clients. The practice is registered with both the Cape Institute of Architects and the South African Institute of Architects and provides a full architecture service to private and corporate clients for a range of projects. Our architecture seeks to minimize the negative environmental impact of buildings by efficiency and moderation in the use of materials, energy, and development space. Sustainable architecture uses a conscious approach to energy and ecological conservation in the design of the built environment. The idea of sustainability, or ecological design, is to ensure that our actions and decisions today do not inhibit the opportunities of future generations. Interior designs that merge and compliment the architecture of the external envelope. The design is for a young couple from Sao Paulo coming to settle in Llandudno. The design captures a barefoot feel with selected natural materials designed to make you feel relaxed and at ease, bringing the beach into the home environment.
