Quick Shade is a proudly South African company that is one of the leading manufacturer of indoor and outdoor branded products in Southern Africa. All of our products are manufactured in our Cape Town-based factory, which includes a fully-equipped metal workshop. This ensures we can guarantee all of our frames and pole-kits - because we make them, we stand behind them!
Our facilities also include a top-class graphic design studio. This enables us to help clients achieve the exact branding soltuions they desire - particularly those who do not have their own graphic design resources. We offer this service free to all of our clients.
Although we specialise in gazebos, telescopic banners, fin banners, dolphin banners, feather banners, tear-drop banners, PVC banners, roll up banners, pop up banners, media walls, banner walls, and fence wraps, this is by no means the limit of what we can manufacture.
Our design and manufacturing facilities allow us to tackle extraordinary jobs that require thinking outside the box; from custom-made banners and frames, to branded windsocks and airplane-pulled flying banners. If it can be printed on fabric or PVC, we will be able to make it!
We use the latest model digital printers to brand these products with corporate logos and full colour advertisements. We have the capability to print up to 3m wide so all large format digital printing is covered. Quick Shade has developed a reputation as an innovative company with a service track record that is unsurpassed in the industry. A willingness to develop new ideas for branding is coupled with the commitment to meeting or exceeding clients expectations, no matter how apparently unrealistic they may seem!
In addition, our capabilities now include include: Sublimation priniting up to 3.2m wide; solvent printing up to 3.2m wide; High-frequency welding (for joining solvent printing wider than 3.2m without sewing); sewing and stitching, as well as metal work. This allows us to guarantee the quality of all aspects of our work, from the fabric to the stitching and the frames/poles.
This focus on quality is driven by the presence of the owners/directors in all aspects of the day to day running of the factory, and is an ethos that all Quickshade employees share.
The company serves a wide variety of customers from Government departments, to political parties such as ANC, distributors of well-known brands such as Coke, liquor companies eg Distell, retailers eg Pick ‘N Pay, petrol companies such as Caltex, to small companies, schools and individuals. We also supply many NGO’s such as Broad Reach Healthcare, Society For Family Health and Centre for HIV/AIDS Prevention Studies. Our Gazebos are made from a high tensile anodised aluminium, with high impact molded nylon fittings and connectors. The legs are a hexagonal cross-section for smoother extension. In both sizes the canopy has one central peak. The fabric used is 100% waterproof, high tear-strength polyester which fares well in the sun.We offer two weights of fabric: 115gsm and 240gsm. They can be ordered either in plain colours or with full colour branding to get your name out there. Both fabrics are coated for waterproofing. Branded gazebos are digitally printed and thus there is no limit to colours and designs. Side walls are provided as optional extras with windows and doors being further variations. All units are supplied with carry bags, rope kits, pegs and rubber mallet.

The telescopic flag comes in a variety of sizes. The print quality on the material is superb and eye-catching. The flag is sturdy and long-lasting and can be erected in seconds. The pole swivels on the ground spike in the direction of the wind to ensure longer lifespan. A tensioner at the base of the flag is an additional option. We provide a number of fabric options - the standard fabric achieves a great strike-through, but we also offer full double-sided flags. Telescopics are supplied with ground spikes and carry bags as standard.
Our Dolphin flag is the latest design on the market and is copyrighted as it is registered to Quick Shade in terms of the Design Act, 1993. Sturdy and eye-catching, the Dolphin Flag is one of the most sought-after flag systems today. Due to a tensioning pole at the base of the flag there is no "flapping" and adjustable tensioners ensure that the flag is always taut. The bow at the top is streamlined for less wind resistance. Again Dolphins are supplied with ground spikes and carry bags as standard.
Shark Fin Flags are made to the same high specification as Dolphins, using the same eye-catching shape but without the tensioner. Ground spikes and carry bags are standard.
We manufacture flags from every country in the world as well as corporate flags. These can be either digitally printed or screen printed and made to your specifications. We use SABS approved flag fabric with long lasting colours suited for extreme weather conditions. Corporate flags can also be made from SABS approved fabric, but we can supply more economical fabric options.
A lightweight & comfortable backpack fitted with either a 1m telescopic or a 1m Dolphin flag. This creates an eye-catching mobile display ideal for high traffic areas such as High-street malls, traffic lights, exhibition halls or outdoor events.
We supply hand-held flags to any size on dowels, for crowd safety reasons dowels are usually plastic tubes. We can also supply the massive flags typically passed over the heads of supporters at sporting events
