This is not a question with one answer, since Inspiration can hit you like a ton of bricks in the middle of the night out of nowhere, or it comes in the form of images, moments in time, even the time of day, the smell in the air or the scenery. Certain things about weddings just makes me believe in the smaller things in life and it allows me to capture emotion, something most people have conditioned themselves not to show easily. There is something special about a dad, that sheds a tear as he walks his daughter down the isle. It allows me to capture love, at the high point of it’s existence, the moment when two individual people, decides to make a forever commitment to each other. Shireen has been venturing into Television Appearances and on-camera projects. There is quite a few things that interest me apart from Photography. Been chosen as a Panel Member for the You/Huisgenoot Wedding Magazine in 2016 and with multiple articles and features in print, radio & television, the Shireen Louw brand has only gone from strength to strength. With a dedicated Wedding Photography & Cinematography team they capture love stories around the world! Alain & Cassandra wanted to celebrate their engagement with a shoot in Cape Town. How beautiful it is to capture a growing family, eagerly awaiting their baby Mia’s arrival. Afterwards the rain did not even stop the fun as guests headed to The Conservatory. In a beautiful ceremony these two declared their love for each other after which the guests feasted on delectable food and a party they all will remember. The story behind this family is one super special to me. On a cold and grey day, these two ensured for all the warmth and colour of the day and celebrated their love with friends & family. Friends & family from all over the world came to celebrate with this beautiful couple and the day could not have been more perfect. Very much in love and down to earth you can not help but feel like they can be everybody’s best friend. White & Gold was the theme of the day and elegance was visible throughout the day. Overcoming life changing obstacles together, these two are stronger than ever and have amazing love for each other. The beautiful Elmaine & D’niel wanted to have a somewhat different setting for their Engagement Shoot, and what better location than on top of Signal Hill, overlooking Table Mountain and Lion’s head. These two gorgeous souls where a feast to photograph!
