Mark Atkinson, a Metallurgical Engineer, who solidified a career within the manufacturing industry of magnets for industrial and commercial use since the 1980’s. In the 1990’s he started manufacturing sintered SMCO magnets in Somerset West. This developed into the sourcing and supply of full spectrum magnetic solutions for the local market. Currently Magnetech designs, manufactures and repairs a wide variety of magnetic machines. These machine are in the tramp iron removal and mineral beneficiation process. We currently service industries in Africa, United States, South America, and Europe.
